Ski Trip 2025

I just wanted to share how impressed we were with the coach service on our recent ski trip. Our drivers, Ray and Tom, were nothing short of exceptional! From start to finish, they made everything run smoothly, ensuring we got to all our destinations safely and on time.

Both were incredibly kind, helpful, and really went out of their way to make the experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. They were fantastic at organising our group, keeping things stress-free and efficient throughout the trip. Their positive energy and friendly personalities truly made them a highlight of the trip.

We can’t recommend this company enough, and we’re already looking forward to using them again next year!

Ski Trip

We recently had the pleasure of spending a week with an incredible team of coach drivers, Ray and Tom, during our ski trip, and we cannot praise them highly enough. From the moment we stepped onto the coach, we knew we were in good hands.

Navigating mountain roads in winter conditions is no easy task, but Ray and Tom made it look effortless. Their skill, precision, and professionalism were second to none, ensuring that we always arrived safely and on time. Whether it was handling tight turns, icy roads, or unpredictable weather, they kept everything running smoothly with a level of confidence and expertise that was truly remarkable.

Beyond their driving ability, their friendly and accommodating nature made the experience even better. They were always punctual, patient, and willing to go the extra mile (literally and figuratively) to make our journey comfortable. Their positive attitude and sense of humor added to the fun of the trip, making every ride enjoyable.

If there’s a Hall of Fame for coach drivers, Ray and Tom deserve a top spot. We can’t thank them enough for their outstanding service, and we’d travel with them again in a heartbeat. If you’re lucky enough to have them behind the wheel, you’re in for a first-class experience!

Isle of Wight long weekend

Isle of Wight long weekend

My husband and I have just returned from a 4-day visit to the Isle of Wight. Our first visit to the island, we were delighted with the scenery and the general ambience of the place. We stayed at The Burlington Hotel, literally 2-minutes walk to the beach front. Everyone there was friendly and accommodating. Our evening meal was always delicious and the waitress service superb. The cooked breakfast was lovely, everything you could wish for, although it could have been a bit warmer. The porridge was lush, thick and creamy, just how I like it! Perhaps a choice of yogurt or fresh fruit could have been offered too. Our room was comfortable enough, although our shower wasn’t great – water just trickled out, but we managed. Lovely trip to Shanklin on Saturday and an island tour on Sunday with our friendly driver, Keith, completed the weekend. The evening entertainment was fun, singers and bingo. Altogether a great weekend. Thank you

Lovely trip but would have been nicer to have more Time in last cotswold village so we had time for a meal rather than 3 villages but we did have a lovely time great hotel for the money very comfortable lively driver very helpful

Fantastic First Class Service

We recently travelled with Cresta for a return journey to a wedding. Our coach was immaculate and comfortable. Coming back we did have to wait for a few guests to say their goodbyes but the driver was more than happy to wait. I have used Cresta for other trips in the past and will definitely use them again in future

Special Conditions associated with Air, Ferry & Train Connections

Departures & Collections

Departures. The Company will if asked give an estimated journey time to your departure Air/Ferry port etc. Clients should always build in a provision for unforeseen circumstances and in particular always allow extra time when travelling to the major UK Airports such as Gatwick, Heathrow, Luton, Stansted, Manchester Etc. Most of Britons Ferry & Airports are accessed via some of the countries busiest Motorway networks and we are finding that delays are becoming much more frequent. Particular attention should also be paid to check-in time given by airlines. Especially those airline companies that operate a shorter check-in time such as 1-2 hours. Our drivers are legally required to take a rest period of at least 45 Minutes after completing 4 ½ hours driving. We do however recommend this be reduced to no more than 3 hours driving. These break period should be added to your proposed departure times.

Breakdowns and delays

The Company gives its advice on journey times in good faith but does not guarantee the completion of any journey within a specific time period and will not be liable for loss or inconvenience caused by breakdown or other delays. The Company will not be held responsible for late arrivals or missed flights due to circumstances beyond its control.

Return Collections

The Company has access to most UK airports flight arrivals information and relies heavily on the live updates being provided by the major Airline Companies. It is therefore imperative that we are given your return flight details in full on final confirmation of your booking. Depending on which UK airport you are using you will be given a set of instructions to follow on what to do upon your return flight arrival.

Delayed Return Flights

Cresta Coaches will give allowance for return flight delays of up to 2 hours. Any additional delays in return flight collections are subject to an hourly charge of £25 per hour. These charges are in addition to the stated hire fees.

Airport Parking Charges

All airport parking fees paid by the Company are in addition to the vehicle hire costs stated unless confirmed to be inclusive.
