You can take in superb sunset views over the sea from here, after a scenic stroll along the connecting promenade. This walkway is lined with pastel-hued Victorian mansions and runs along North Shore Beach, where you’ll find stretches of sand as well as pebble.

We head via a scenic drive into the Vale of Clwyd and the spectacular Horseshoe Pass to explore the picturesque town of Llangollen with the River Dee running through its heart. Take a stroll along the Victoria Promenade or watch the river tumble down beneath the bridge. Also bring your cameras, as we head into spectacular Snowdonia National Park, where we will take a jaw dropping railway journey to the summit of Snowdon on its very own Mountain Railway, as well as discovering the National Slate Museum to travel into the past of an industry and a way of life that has chiselled itself into the very being of this country.
