You’ll stay at the fabulous Woodford Dolmen Hotel, set on the banks of the River Barrow and enjoy its magical gardens which are a joy to wander. Excursions include the fair city of Dublin, as well as the historic town of Kilkenny, with its castle, narrow streets and historic pubs (try Kyteler’s Inn which is about as old as it gets!). You’ll also take in stunning Glendalough in the ‘Valley of the Two Lakes’, as well as exploring the stunning Mount Usher Gardens – one of Ireland’s greatest – and one of Monty Don’s favourite gardens anywhere. Don’t miss this one – it’s a craic’er!
